Cristian Rojas has practiced at ALEGALIS since 2013, focusing on legal advice, prevention, analysis and litigation in constitutional, administrative (government and municipal agencies), civil, criminal and labor law. Since 2015, he has headed the Criminal Law practice, with experience defending the business and property interests of individuals and legal entities, including proceedings involving offenses against property and assets generally, the national economy, intellectual property, the administration of justice, the environment, forgery, and the tax and customs regime. As litigation counsel, he represents and defends the intellectual property interests of international brands in the seizure of counterfeit goods sold in Guatemala and imported directly from various countries around the world.

Over successive years, Cristian Rojas has helped position ALEGALIS as one of the leading firms in Guatemala and the region in Dispute Resolution, according to international publications and rankings.

Since 2017, Cristian Rojas has been a member of the Law School faculty at Universidad del Istmo, specializing in criminal law and teaching Criminal Law (General Part), Criminal Law (Special Part) and practical workshops in the field. 

In 2020, Cristian began the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program at UNIS Business School to bridge strategic business and legal perspectives, providing the advice and direction needed for business growth and sustainability within the social and legal environment.

Before qualifying as an Attorney and Notary, Cristian began his professional training at a prestigious law firm in corporate law, company formation, commercial contracts and intellectual property, where he had the opportunity to advise domestic and international companies in the food service, aviation and recreation sectors on the registration of trademarks, trade names, designs and patents. In corporate law, he worked on consolidation and growth projects for one of the largest recreation institutions in Latin America.
