Diego José De León Toledo is an attorney in Alegalis’ Civil Litigation and Arbitration Department. With more than six years of experience providing comprehensive corporate legal advice, his practice focuses on drafting, negotiating and reviewing civil, commercial, employment and construction contracts, as well as resolving and preventing highly complex business disputes.

His experience covers litigation and arbitration before domestic courts and international tribunals in civil, commercial, constitutional and administrative matters, including enforcement proceedings, commercial sales, insurance policies, technology, logistics, telecommunications and government contracts. He also has experience in legal structures for investment and corporate compliance.

Diego also has experience in investor-state disputes in the energy and mining sectors before ICSID, as well as proceedings before the Inter-American Court and Commission on Human Rights. His additional training in finance—he is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Finance at Universidad Francisco Marroquín—enables him to offer a comprehensive perspective combining legal rigor with analysis of the economic and commercial implications of each case.
